Raising Arizona

I saw this movie, long before moving to the state, and it's my absolute favorite! I think it's also a good-luck movie, for many of its stars (Nic Cage, Holly Hunter, and the directors - the Coen brothers - for example), went on to win Oscars with other projects.

Essentially, the plot revolves around a childless couple's efforts to add a baby to their family, by taking Nathan Jr. - one of five of the Arizona family quints. Sounds like a tragedy, but it's a fine example of a dark comedy!
